A Step-by-Step Guide

Whether you're brand new to Showit or just need a quick refresher, this guide will walk you through exactly how to add your purchased template to your Showit library so you can start customizing right away.

STEP 1 — Log Into Your Showit Account

  1. Go to https://app.showit.co

  2. Log in using your Showit email + password.

  3. Once logged in, you’ll be taken to your Showit Dashboard.

STEP 2 — Open Your Design Library

  1. On the left sidebar, click “Your Designs.”

  2. This is where all templates you’ve added or created will appear.

  3. To add a new one, click the blue “Add Design to Library” button in the top right corner.

STEP 3 — Add the Template Using Your Share Key

Your purchase includes a Showit Share Key (a series of letters + numbers).
This key instantly imports your template.

  1. In the pop-up box, select “Add Design by Share Key.”

  2. Copy the Share Key from your download or confirmation email.

  3. Paste the Share Key into the field.

  4. Click “Add to Library.”

Showit will automatically import the entire design.

STEP 4 — Open the Template

  1. After import, you’ll see your new design inside Your Designs.

  2. Click “Open Design.”

  3. Your template will now open inside the Showit Designer, ready to customize.

STEP 5 — Replace the Demo Content

Start customizing your design:

  • Replace photos

  • Update colors & fonts

  • Add your copy

  • Adjust pages

  • Connect your blog (if applicable)

Your template is fully editable and flexible — make it feel like YOU!

STEP 6 — Publish Your Site

Once you’re happy with your edits:

  1. Click the “Publish” button (top right).

  2. Showit will walk you through selecting (or connecting) your domain.

If you already have a domain, Showit support can help you connect it if needed.

⭐ Troubleshooting Tips

If the design doesn’t appear:

  • Double-check the Share Key for typos

  • Ensure you’re logged into the correct Showit account

  • Refresh your Your Designs page

  • Try importing again
